Screaming migraine derails my book discussion.
Once a month, I’m meeting with an interfaith group to discuss a chapter of a book about two mystic masters, Ibn Al-Arabi and Meister Eckhart. Today was our meeting to discuss chapter three and we are just beginning to really get into the “meat” of the masters’ thought. But I awoke with a screaming migraine at 4:30 a.m. I thought perhaps if I caught the migraine early enough I’d be able to make the group discussion. But that was not to be. I’m feeling better but I’ve had to take so much medication that it is best not to drive half way across town to get to the venue. So I have to miss the discussion group and wait until next month. And I have to learn to be patient with the migraine and with myself.
You’re on the right track, baby!
Seriously, keep up the good work!
