Buying a birthday gift for Micah.
I’m a little late. Micah’s birthday was Thursday but Micah was turning one so I’m sure he didn’t notice that I didn’t get his gift until today and will take it over on Monday. Micah is one of my CASA kids and is a real cutie. I got him cars and a ramp for toddlers. The foster family doesn’t have many toys for the children so I’m sure he’ll like these as will his two-year old sister.
I also noticed that my car has been damaged by a run-in I had with a gravel truck that blew out a tire on my way out to the country to see their older sister (on the way back, actually). The pieces of the tire flew up onto my car and broken the plastic around my light and dented the front. So that’s another insurance claim I have to file Monday. Rats.
