Super Intelligent or Extremely Good Looking?

Given a choice. I would definitely wan to be super-intelligent. I love learning and I have a passion for studying various subjects. Being super-intelligent would help me to succeed in there careers I have chosen, and I would love to learn more about a variety of subjects and therefore be super-intellect. I would rather be normal or average looking and know a lot about a lot of subjects than be extremely good looking. Sometimes people assume that very good looking people are not very intelligent. That may or may not be true, but I would be thrilled if I could have much knowledge and be able to apply that knowledge in the real world. I don’t want to be so good-looking that people would brush you off as a superficial person.

It might be nice to be both super intelligent and extremely good looking, but I would be afraid that if I were too good looking, I might not be taken seriously as an intelligent person. It seems that physical appearance is important and also causes people to make assumptions about people based on their appearance. Very good looking people are often considered to be not very intelligent. So I think I would not want to be both at the same time. I would choose being super intelligent over being good looking anytime.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
