I usually sleep very well at night. That’s mostly due to the many medications I have to take. However, I wake up very early and have trouble getting back to sleep. I tend to worry about the events of the coming day, the activities I have to do. I suffer from anxiety and my anxiousness is what keeps me up early in the morning.
To stem the anxiety, I take medication, but it doesn’t help me get back to sleep. I usually get up very early and say my prayers, and then check my email. That helps my anxiety, too. Keeping busy helps. I also write early in the morning to help decrease the anxiety levels. I love to write and that focuses my mind on things other than my anxiety.
