Two Months of Blogging

It has been two months of blogging in the post-a-day 2011 challenge. Well, a little less than then two months, since I think I started a little late in January. Some of the topics have been rather lame, but others have forced me to think about things I have ignored for too long. I have had some eye-opening moments in my blogging, when all the pieces of life fall into place. Some have been emotionally trying to me, but I’ve struggled through them and written some pieces that tell the truth as I know it.

All in all, this has been a great exercise for me. It’s improved my writing and made me think about my life. I’m going to keep on blogging.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
