Lack of Technology

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that we had a topic nearly the same as this one a few weeks ago, but I will not be prompted to go looking for it and besides, I still feel like writing.

Out of the technology mentioned (laptop, phone, ipad, etc.) I would miss my laptop the most if those things were taken away. I am attending university on line and I need my laptop to attend class and submit my assignments (which reminds me that I have a research paper due tomorrow night). I would also miss it because I love to keep in contact with my friends through email and Facebook, and of course I write my blogs and I couldn’t do that without my laptop. Well, I could but it would mean I would have to use some of the other technology, which theoretically I don’t have.

I also love to research topics on my computer and I would miss going to it and just finding what I want if my laptop was gone. I’d miss my phone for texting and phone calls and taking pictures, but the laptop would definitely be the most sorely missed.

So that’s my answer for this lame topic which I swear we already did. If I see it again, I think I will scream.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.

My daughter has all the latest goodies and it’s amazing to me just how much the whole family relies on the iPAD, PC, and laptop! Technology rules!
