Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What are your plans for Easter Day/weekend? I have no plans. I am Muslim so it isn’t a holiday for me. I am hoping that my daughter might take us out to dinner.

2. Besides Jesus, what one person from The Bible would you most like to meet and why? Thomas. I would like to meet and talk to Mary. I would ask her what it was like to be so alone and ostracized when she was pregnant with Jesus. I would ask her what he was like as a child. I would also like to know how she spent her final days.

3. What is one modern day convenience you didn’t have as a child that was easy to live without? The mobile phone. I use mine mainly for keeping my appointments and storing other things. I could still live without it easily.

4. Are you more right brained or left brained? If you don’t know what that means there is an interesting little quiz here. I came out as 53% left brain and 47% right brain, showing that I’m more logical than creative but as the scores are so close I think it’s fair to say that I’m fairly even when it comes to creativity and logic.

5. What is something you intended to do today but didn’t? Why? I was going to go to CASA for a pre-case interview but my car had a flat tire, so I had to get that fixed

6. Cadbury Creme Eggs or Reeses peanut butter? Creme Eggs definitely, especially if they’ve been in the fridge.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.

    Aoa!
Well, you can partly get your answers to Q.3 from the 3rd Surah of Quran, Surah Al-Imran, named after Hazrat Maryam’s father.
