Movie I Have Watched the Most

The movie I have watched the most and one that I absolutely adore is the 1979 movie “A Little Romance”, which starred Laurence Olivier and introduced the world to Diane Lane.

It is a film about two young adolescents in Paris, an American girl and a French boy, who love in “puppy love” and run away to Venice to kiss under the Bridge of Sighs so that they will see each other again after the American Girl returns to the United States. Laurence Olivier helps the pair along the way to achieve their dream.

It is a sweet, innocent film with beautiful scenery of France and Italy. Diane Lane will be a true star, one can tell from the film.

The last time I watched the film was several years ago and I watched it alone. Once my daughter watched it with me when she was a teemager but she couldn’t appreciate it. I have watched it by myself every other time I have watched it. It is my all-time favorite movie because it is so full of hope, pure and innocent.

If you get a chance to watch it on an old movies channel or on DVD, do view it. You will love it.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
