Easier Than I Thought

Before I had my first colonoscopy several years ago, I was very nervous about the prep and the procedure. The prep was absolutely horrible, and it has been every time I have had it since then. But the procedure was nothing at all. I was so relieved that I didn’t feel a thing. (I did have one bad experience when the doctor couldn’t get the anesthesia to work on me.) I always fear that will happen again but it never has. Each time has been fine. And the result are usually good and the doctor knows what meds to give me to stop the problem. So that’s the short and sweet (?) story today.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
