30 Days of Truth

Day 30 days of Truth is about bringing out the best in yourself. Also, to let people see the “real” you through what you write. For thirty days I will write about myself, I will dig deep and I hope you can start this journey with me. 30 days of Truth; Are you ready!?

1: Something you hate about yourself.
I hate that I procrastinate–BIG time. Especially cleaning up the apartment. I hate doing it so I put it off until it’s impossible to ignore anymore. The same with shopping for groceries and such. I put it off until I have to practically buy out the store. That’s what I hate about myself.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.

  1. I do this too, not meaning to, but I do. Sometimes I let the house go, but usually its my little girls toys. lol. blame it on the kids, sigh.

  2. Procrastination. My laundry comes to mind. I don’t mind washing them but when it comes to folding them and putting them up….ugh…I can think of everything and anything to do other than the laundry.

  3. Ohmygosh I do this all the time! Specially for school, I just push and push it off till the last mintue. And when I have to pull an all nighter I wonder why I waited so long haha
