Camera and a Moment in Time

I’ll keep this short. A camera is only as good as the photographer behind it. The camera does not capture the moment in time but a highly skilled, and lucky photographer can. That’s why there are certain photographers who are considered true artists. They can capture a moment in time through their skill and a little luck. The average nonprofessional photographer cannot usually do it. They can take a picture but that does not necessarily capture a moment in time. An artist photographer can capture that moment at times and that is why we look at them as artists. They can do things with their camera that normal people cannot do. They are truly artists.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
