30 Days of Truth

Day 16. Someone or something you could definitely live without

This may get me in trouble (again) but I could definitely live without my son-in-law. We don’t really get along well though I try and I am giving up on trying. So I guess it’s live and let live. I won’t interfere with him if he doesn’t interfere with me.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.

  1. Maybe you wont get into too much trouble 😮 Just stating facts, and I sure he knows how you feel.

  2. The Hook says:

I’ve had in-law issues as well, so I sympathize.

  3. I’d have skipped writing this post. Your feelings are your feelings, and I’m sure your son-in-law knows how you feel about him. But, there was no reason for the rest of the world to know this.
