This was a very confusing prompt. First it asks what is the best Sunday you ever had. Then it asks for a description of your perfect Sunday. Well, which is it?

I can’t think of a memorable Sunday so I’ll describe a perfect Sunday. It would involve walking on the beach and then riding a horse on the beach. Afterwards I would settle in with a good book and read with the wind off the Gulf of Mexico in my hair. Then a nice dinner at a quaint little restaurant and a peaceful night’s sleep.

My typical Sunday is very quiet and relaxing unless I attempt to go out to the pharmacy. Often I take my granddaughter out to eat, which is a fabulous experience. They are so full of life and high school experiences. I usually spend most of the day reading, which for me is fine. I spend the day relaxing. Today I may take a nap as I was out late last night and then some fool called my cell phone at 3:00 a.m. and I had trouble getting back to sleep. So I need relaxation.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.

Have to agree with The Hook! You have a much more active social life than I am having right now, Maire.
