Which flight do you like better–going somewhere or coming home?
I like flights that take me somewhere the best. I enjoy the anticipation of the adventure that I’m going on, either to visit friend or relative, or to go on holiday. I actaully like the nervousness of worrying if my luggage will arrive and of thinking of all the things I will do and see on my visit or holiday. I like to anticipate the next few days and enjoy thinking about them. The3 flight home is always a bit of a let down. I’m glad to be going home but it can’t come soon enough, and worry about getting the dogs and getting home and collecting the mail and unpacking and I don’t look forward to all that stuff. I would much rather imagine what my visit or holiday will be like so I definitely enjoy the flight to somewhere more than the flight home.
I NEVER get to travel so I can’t answer!
Would you like to buy some tickets for a weekend trip to the wilds of Thorold?
I agree with you 100%…I love home but there’s nothing quite like the anticipation of going away on vacation somewhere. It brings such a child-like feeling in me.
That stirred memories of the days leading up to the flight that would take me to Key West. I don’t know what was more exciting, the anticipation of going or actually being there. I know when it came time to leave I was dragging my feet. I kept thinking, “I wonder if anyone would notice if I just didn’t get off that plane?”
