Perfect Sandwich

Describe the perfect sandwich.

I don’t need $5,000. I don’t need to be creative. I just need some rare, thinly sliced roast beef, some pumpernickel bread, Russian dressing, a red onion, and a kosher pickle spear. Put those things together and you have the perfect sandwich and garnish. It is very simple. Too much fussing around with ingredients ruins a perfectly good sandwich. The roast beed should be piled thickly on the pumpernickel bread with some slices of red onion and some Russian dressing slathered on the bread. The pickle should be on the side. It is all very simple. And very delicious. Try it. You’ll like it.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
