Six Word Saturday

The Christmas Shopping is now finished.

I finished up the Christmas shopping on Thursday (or was it Friday when I decided to get one more thing?). Nevermind. It’s all done. Now for the wrapping which is no big deal except for the china and crystal that I am giving to my daughter. I have for years promised to give her my good china and crystal and the time has come, so this year she is getting it for Christmas along with her other gifts. I found boxes (I knew I had saved them for some reason) to pack them in so that will be the worst packing and wrapping that I have to do. But no more shopping. Most of my shopping was done online early anyhow. I avoid the shops at all costs. I think I only bought two things in the shops. And they were small shops. I avoid the malls. Done!

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
