Six Word Saturday

Have to wrap the Christmas gifts.

I left the wrapping until the last minute. I have two presents wrapped only because I had the stores wrap them. I still have to pack up the fine china that I’m giving my daughter. I’m nervous about wrapping that. The other gifts are rather small except for the box of crystal ware that I packed yesterday. I’m having a hard time working myself up to do the wrapping. I particularly hate wrapping because I’m not very good at it. I could still do some tomorrow since I don’t have to go over to my daughter’s house until four o’clock. Maybe I’ll do the worst of it today (the crystal and the china) and leave the little packages until tomorrow. Or maybe I’m just being a procrastinator.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.

You’re not lazy, young lady. Perish the thought!
