Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. A new Miss America was crowned on Saturday night-did you watch? If you were a contestant what would your talent be?

I didn’t watch the entire thing. I watched about 15 minutes. My talent would be making mosaics, which would take quite a long time to do on television.

2. Do you have houseplants? Real or fake?

I have several houseplants–real–bamboo and succulents.

3. When you were in school did you speak up or were you more of the hide your face, avoid eye contact, and pray the teacher didn’t call on you type of student?

I had no problem with the teacher calling on me because I knew the answers. However, I was painfully shy with other children.

4. Next Monday marks the Chinese New Year….what do you order when someone suggests Chinese food?

I like General Tsao’s Chicken

5. How would you define a miracle? What would it take for you to consider something a miracle?

I would define a miracle as something that can’t be explained by natural ways. That would be a miracle.

6. What’s your favourite Disney song? If you’re stuck you’ll find a list here.

When you wish upon a star

7. I should have __________yesterday.

not have eaten so much

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Kudos to the HP tech support people on the phone lines who worked for over an hour to get my printer back on line after the cable company messed it up. They wouldn’t give up.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
