Six Word Saturday

Six Word Saturday

Feeling a little under the weather.
I was up half the night, restless and achey. I was so tired last night before I went to bed, that I didn’t even read as much as I usually do. I thought I would really sleep well because I felt so tired, but I must be coming down with something because my sleep was quite disturbed. I finally woke up for good at 4 a.m and decided to read a bit after I realized I had a fever. I took some aspirin (which I’m not supposed to do because of my kidney problem but tylenol doesn’t bring my fevers down). I figure once won’t hurt my kidneys that much and I needed to reduce my fever because I felt so miserable. It did help and I feel a little better, so by the time the alarm went off to get up to clean up and read the Qur’an before prayers I was feeling much better. I hope this goes away soon and I feel better soon because I have to go out and get Valentine’s cards for my granddaughters. I bought them dogs that are made of crispy chocolate. I hope they like them. I’ll go out soon (early) while I feel not so bad and the stores aren’t crowded. I hate shopping but have to do it. Oh well.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
