Friday (Saturday) Finds

I’m joining in a new meme this week, I hope you like it and join in too!

FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

So, come on — share with us your FRIDAY FINDS!

One of my finds is The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys by Chris Fuhrman, which was a recommendation from one of my grammar school friends, who was an altar boy himself. I can’t wait to read it.

Another find is Chocolate and Vicodin by Jeanette Fulda. This is a book about migraine headaches and treatments and causes, a topic near and dear to my heart since I suffer from migraines and sometimes go through nasty periods of chronic migraine. So I liked the title when I saw it in a migraine newsletter and so it’s on my shelf.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
