Six Word Saturday

I finished one of my books.

I’ve been reading All Those Things We Never Said by French author Marc Levy. I’ve been reading the English translation, of course. I actually read it for a sweepstakes. There are five questions to answer on his page on Facebook and the prize is a trip to Paris. Not bad. So I got the book on my e-reader and read it in three days. It was a good book with an interesting premise. It’s about a relationship between a daughter and her father and about true love lost and found. So now I’ll go to the Facebook page and answer the questions and maybe I’ll go to Paris. Or not. Probably not. Probably I’ll just write a review of the book for my Book Challenge. My chances of winning are slim to none. I’m nothing if not a realistic. Sigh.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
