Daily Prompt–Your Life, The Book

From a famous writer or celebrity, to a WordPress.com blogger or someone close to you — who would you like to be your biographer?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us WORDS.

I can’t imagine someone actually writing my biography. I have written my autobiography and am trying to publish it. It is the story of my conversion to Islam and my life. I just felt led to write it and will eventually self-publish it.

Doris kearns GoodwinBut it would be nice to have a real author write by biography. If you are going to have someone write your biography, you should select someone who knows what they are doing in this area. So I have selected Doris Kearns Goodwin. She is a famous biographer. She has written about the Kennedys and Lyndon Johnson. She was also a speech writer. She has also written other biographies. The woman is a star.

I think she would do a great job in writing my biography. She would research all my early years, seeking out people I knew and getting quotes from my friends and anecdotes. She would analyze my life and do a very good job. I might not come out just like I would like to be, but she would be fair.

So that is the person I would like to write my biography. I would be honored if she would write it. Here’s to you, Doris Kearns Goodwin. Thank you.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.
