Daily Prompt–Secret of Success

What would it take for you to consider yourself a “successful blogger”? Is that something you strive for?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us EFFORT.

I have no idea if I am a successful blogger or not. I probably am not compared to some bloggers I know. They have followers in the thousands and people hang on their every word. I am happy for them and their blogs deserve the attention they get. They are splendid indeed.

I guess I consider myself to be a success blogger because I blog for myself and I keep at it also every day. I do the daily prompt nearly every day. I write my book challenge updates when I finish a book for the book challenge. I do it for myself but I also do it for the 180 followers of my blog. My book reviews have been well received. People seem to like my reviews of the books I read. They also comment on the daily prompts that I write. People visit my blog and comment and like it. That indicates such measure of success.

I don’t have thousands of followers but I do have loyal followers. They like the material that I publish. That indicates some measure of success, I think. So I do consider, I guess that I am a successful blogger. That’s my blogging life, such as it is.

About mairedubhtx

I am a "youngish" grandmother of 15 year old twin granddaughter who has recently (is a year "recent"?) adopted Islam as my way of life, much to the consternation of my family. I love to read. I love to write. I am writing a book about my decision to revert, about my spiritual journey. I have another blog about stories from my youth, my parents, and grandparents. It's a blog so my OCD daughter will not be able to throw it out when I die. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am treated, so my posts may be a bit dark at times. C'est la vie.

I take loyal followers over many followers ANY DAY! TO me a successful blog has consistency, images and not to much writing OR complaining. If I can follow that rule I feel I’ve won!
